Physiotherapy in Markham
Our registered physiotherapists find out why you hurt, not just where. Every plan starts with a thorough assessment of how you move, followed by hands-on treatment, targeted exercise and clear education so you understand your recovery.
Whether you are rehabbing an ACL, managing low back pain from long days at a desk, or getting ready to return to your sport, we build the plan around your goals and progress it as you get stronger.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No. You can book directly with M.O. Therapy without a referral in Ontario. Some extended health plans ask for a referral before they reimburse, so check your policy if you plan to claim.
Do you direct bill insurance?
Yes. We direct bill most major Canadian extended health insurance providers, so in many cases you only pay any portion your plan doesn’t cover.
How long is a physiotherapy appointment?
Initial assessments typically take 45 to 60 minutes. Follow-up physiotherapy sessions are usually 30 to 45 minutes.
What should I wear to physiotherapy?
Wear comfortable clothing that lets us see and move the area being treated. Shorts are best for hip, knee and ankle issues, and a tank top or loose t-shirt for shoulder and neck concerns.
